Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic individuals for Behavior Technician roles to work directly with children with autism. You will implement individualized intervention plans under the guidance of a BCBA, using evidence-based techniques to teach important skills while reducing problematic behaviors.

This role requires passion, patience, and the physical ability to work with children, including lifting up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years of age.
• Ability to obtain CPR and First Aid Certification and Tuberculosis test if needed.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Must obtain Registered Behavior Technician Certification after onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children implementing behavior intervention plans.
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Reduce interfering behaviors.
