Job summary

Centriaautism is seeking enthusiastic individuals for the Behavior Technician role, where you will work directly with children with autism, implementing personalized behavior plans. This role requires patience, compassion, and a readiness to engage actively with children, including lifting and carrying when needed.

Comprehensive training will be provided to ensure you are well-prepared. The position offers a salary range of $20 - $24 per hour and numerous perks including structured career pathways and access to employee assistance programs.

Qualifications

• 18+ years of age.
• Ability to obtain CPR and First Aid Certification.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
• Ability to move in various positions (sit, squat, bend, etc.).
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Reduce interfering behaviors and assist in improving the life of a child.
