Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians in Hudson, Michigan to support children with autism. In this role, you will implement behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and use evidence-based techniques to foster communication and daily skills.

The ideal candidates are passionate, patient, and capable of lifting up to 50 pounds. A high school diploma or GED is required. The position offers a pay range of $17 - $20 along with comprehensive training and an opportunity to make a substantial impact.

Qualifications

• 18+ years of age.
• Ability to obtain CPR and First Aid Certification.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
• Ability to move in various positions (sit, squat, bend, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children implementing behavior intervention plans.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach skills.
• Assist children with communication, social, and daily living skills.
