Job summary

Centria is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Behavior Technicians, helping children with autism achieve meaningful progress. You will work one-on-one under the supervision of a BCBA, applying evidence-based techniques to build communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing challenging behaviors.

The role emphasizes patience, compassion, teamwork, and a commitment to training.

Qualifications

• 18+ years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR/First Aid certification and TB test.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under BCBA guidance.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills and reduce interfering behaviors.
• Collaborate with BCBA and team to adapt interventions as needed.
• Be patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team environment.
• Move and assist children up to 50 pounds as part of activities.
