Job summary

Centria Autism is hiring Registered Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children with autism, implementing individualized behavior plans under the supervision of a BCBA. You will teach communication, social, and daily living skills using evidence-based techniques, with training provided.

Ideal candidates are passionate, patient, and team-oriented. The role involves physical activity and lifting up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR/First Aid certification and TB test.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
• Ability to move in various positions and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must obtain Registered Behavior Technician Certification after onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children to implement individualized behavior intervention plans.
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Reduce interfering behaviors under BCBA guidance.
• Participate in training and collaborate with the team.
