Job summary

Centria Autism in Maryland is seeking Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children with autism under the guidance of a BCBA. You will implement individualized intervention plans, teaching communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing interfering behaviors.

We provide comprehensive training and encourage teamwork. You should be patient, compassionate, and able to stay active, with the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Must be passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age and a high school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR/First Aid and a TB test.
• Pass pre-employment background check.
• Must be able to move and lift up to 50 pounds.
• RBT certification required within 45 days of onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children under BCBA guidance.
• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication and daily living skills.
• Reduce interfering behaviors and ensure safety.
