Job summary

Centria Autism in the United States is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Behavior Technicians. As a Behavior Technician, you will work one-on-one with children with autism, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a BCBA to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.

The role requires patience and teamwork; training is provided. You should be able to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age
• Ability to obtain a CPR, First Aid Certification and Tuberculosis test (if you haven’t had one in the last year)
• Ability to pass a pre employment background check
• Ability to move in various positions (sit, squat, bend, etc.)
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children implementing behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a BCBA.
• Assist BCBA in teaching communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Support children in managing behaviors using evidence-based techniques.
