Job summary

At Centria Autism in Petersburg, VA, we are seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to support children with autism. You will implement individualized intervention plans under the supervision of a BCBA, teaching communication, social, and daily living skills using evidence-based techniques.

As part of our team, you will work one-on-one with clients, stay patient and compassionate, and participate in comprehensive training.

Qualifications

• Patience and compassion to support children with autism
• Teamwork and collaboration in a clinical setting
• Ability to obtain CPR and First Aid certifications
• Ability to pass pre-employment background check
• 18+ years of age

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized behavior plans under BCBA guidance
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills using evidence-based techniques
• Support safety and engagement during activities, including lifting up to 50 pounds
