Job summary

Centria Autism in Dundee, Michigan is hiring Behavior Technicians who are enthusiastic about helping children with autism. You will implement individualized behavior intervention plans under a BCBA's direction, utilizing evidence-based techniques to enhance communication and social skills.

The role demands compassion, patience, and the ability to work well in a team. Training is provided, and physical agility is required as you support children while lifting and moving up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• 18+ years of age.
• Ability to obtain CPR, First Aid Certification and Tuberculosis test.
• Ability to pass a pre employment background check.
• Ability to move in various positions (sit, squat, bend, etc.).
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a BCBA.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Reduce interfering behaviors while working one-on-one with children.
