Job summary

Centria Autism in Dallas, TX is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to support children with autism through one-on-one sessions guided by a BCBA. You will implement tailored intervention plans and use evidence-based techniques to enhance communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing challenging behaviors.

We provide comprehensive training and a supportive team environment. Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, 18+ years old, and the ability to lift up to 50

Qualifications

Passionate about helping children with autism.
Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
18+ years of age
High school diploma or GED
Ability to obtain CPR, First Aid Certification and Tuberculosis test
Ability to pass a pre employment background check
Ability to move in various positions (sit, squat, bend, etc.)
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

Work one-on-one with children implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under BCBA guidance.
Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills and reduce interfering behaviors.
Provide comprehensive training and support to empower each child and family.
