Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians in Maryland to work one-on-one with children on individualized intervention plans under the supervision of a BCBA. You will use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while helping reduce challenging behaviors.

Ideal candidates are patient, compassionate, and team-oriented. Training is provided; some physical activity and ability to lift up to 50 pounds are required.

Qualifications

• 18+ years of age
• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to obtain CPR and First Aid Certification and Tuberculosis test
• Ability to pass a pre employment background check
• Ability to move in various positions and lift up to 50 pounds

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one behavioral intervention plans under BCBA guidance.
• Implement evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Support children in a safe, patient, and compassionate manner during interventions.
