Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic individuals for Behavior Technician roles. You will work one-on-one with children with autism, implementing behavior plans under BCBA guidance and using evidence-based techniques to teach communication and daily living skills. Training is provided, and no prior experience is required.

Qualifications

• Must be passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR and First Aid certification and TB test.
• Background check clearance required.
• Ability to move in various positions (sit, stand, bend).
• Lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children under BCBA guidance.
• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans.
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Use evidence-based techniques to reduce interfering behaviors.
