Job summary

Centria Autism in Ashland, VA is seeking enthusiastic Registered Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children with autism, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under a BCBA. Qualifications

• Must be patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must obtain CPR/First Aid and TB test if not on file within last year.
• Must pass a pre-employment background check.
• Must be able to move in various positions and lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
• Must obtain RBT certification after onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under a BCBA.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Help reduce interfering behaviors and support clients in everyday activities.
