Job summary

Solstice Behavioral Health & Consulting in Connecticut seeks a Behavior Technician who will implement individualized behavior intervention plans under supervision by a BCBA or clinical supervisor. You will work directly with children with autism to teach communication, social and daily living skills, and collect data on behavior and skill acquisition.

Collaborating with clinical staff and families, you will participate in team meetings and support the consistent use of evidence-based strategies

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in behavior-focused disciplines, including Behavior Analysis and Applied Behavior Analysis.
• Experience applying Behavioral Intervention techniques in one-on-one and small-group settings.
• Knowledge of Psychology principles relevant to autism and child development.
• Effective Communication skills for collaborating with clinical teams and engaging with families.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary coursework or degree in psychology, education, or related field preferred.
• Experience working with children or individuals with developmental or behavioral needs is highly beneficial.
• Capacity to follow detailed treatment plans, accurately record data, and maintain confidentiality.
• Willingness to participate in ongoing training; eligibility for or interest in Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification is a plus.
