Job summary

Centriaautism is seeking enthusiastic individuals for the role of Behavior Technician in Aylett, Virginia. This position involves working one-on-one with children, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).

You will receive comprehensive training to empower you in helping children with autism reach their potential. Candidates must be compassionate, able to lift up to 50 pounds, and have a high school diploma or GED. A Registered Behavior Technician Certification will be required within 45 days of onboarding.

The job offers a pay range of $16-20 per hour based on experience and education.

Qualifications

• Ability to obtain a CPR, First Aid Certification and Tuberculosis test.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
• Capability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children to implement behavior intervention plans.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach skills and reduce interfering behaviors.
