Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to support children with autism through one-on-one intervention under a BCBA. You will learn to implement individualized plans and use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.

No prior experience is required, as comprehensive training is provided. The role involves standing and moving with children, lifting up to 50 pounds, and staying patient and compassionate in a team environment.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work in a team.
• 18+ years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• CPR/First Aid certification and TB test within a year.
• Pass preemployment background check.
• Ability to move in various positions and lift up to 50 pounds.
• RBT certification within 45 days of onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children implementing individualized behavior plans.
• Under BCBA guidance, use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Reduce interfering behaviors and support progress toward goals.
• Collaborate with team and participate in training to ensure quality care.
