Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians in Virginia to work one-on-one with children, implementing personalized behavior plans under a BCBA. You will apply evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing challenging behaviors.

The role requires patience and teamwork. Comprehensive training is provided; candidates must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and obtain CPR/First Aid and TB testing.

Qualifications

• Must be passionate about helping children with autism.
• High school diploma or GED is required.
• CPR and First Aid Certification and TB test required or obtainable.
• Background check must be passed.
• Must be able to move and lift up to 50 pounds.
• RBT Certification required within 45 days of onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children to implement individualized behavior intervention plans under a BCBA.
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills using evidence-based techniques.
• Support children in a safe, supportive team environment and participate in training.
