Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join as Behavior Technicians in Waxahachie, Texas. You will work one-on-one with children, implementing behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a BCBA to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.

You will receive comprehensive training and join a dedicated team changing lives for the better while being able to lift up to 50 pounds and move in various positions as part of daily activities.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years of age.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Pass pre-employment background check.
• Ability to move in various positions and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Registered Behavior Technician certification after onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children to implement individualized behavior intervention plans under BCBA guidance.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills; reduce interfering behaviors.
• Collaborate with a BCBA and team to support each child’s progress.
• Ensure safety and documentation of progress and activities.
