Job summary

CENTRIA AUTISM is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians in Texas to work one-on-one with children with autism, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a BCBA. You will use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing interfering behaviors.

We provide comprehensive training so you are equipped to help each child, even without prior experience.

Qualifications

• Must be passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age; HS diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR/First Aid certification and TB test.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one intervention under BCBA guidance.
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills using evidence-based techniques.
• Follow individualized behavior intervention plans and safety protocols.
• Assist in implementing training and supporting child progress.
• Occasionally assist with positioning and mobility needs (up to 50 lbs).
