Job summary

Centria Autism in Michigan is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children with autism, implementing individualized behavior plans under a BCBA.

You will gain comprehensive training to develop communication, social, and daily living skills, while helping reduce challenging behaviors. You may be required to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 pounds during the day.

Qualifications

• Must be passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work in a team.
• Willing to obtain CPR/First Aid and TB tests.
• Must pass a pre-employment background check.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children to implement behavior plans under supervision of a BCBA.
• Assist with behavior intervention under BCBA guidance.
• Support safety and mobility, including standing, walking, and lifting as needed.
