Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians in Independence, Oregon. You will work one-on-one with children with autism, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).

You will use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing interfering behaviors. No prior experience required; comprehensive training will prepare you to help each child and family

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age; high school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children to implement individualized behavior plans.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Follow guidance from a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
• Assist in reducing interfering behaviors during sessions.
