Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to join our team and help children with autism reach their full potential. You will work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a BCBA, teaching communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing challenging behaviors.

Structured training will prepare you to support clients, with a strong emphasis on safety and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patience, compassion, and ability to work in a team.
• 18+ years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain a CPR/First Aid Certification and TB test.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
• Ability to move in various positions (sit, squat, bend, etc.).
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children to implement behavior intervention plans.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Assist BCBA under supervision.
• Maintain safety during varying client activities.
• Participate in team environment and training.
