Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join as Behavior Technicians. You will work one-on-one with children on individualized plans under a BCBA’s guidance, using evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing challenging behaviors.

We provide comprehensive training so you can help each child reach their potential, even if you’re new to this field.

Qualifications

• Requires patience and compassion when working with children with autism.
• Ability to work well in a team environment and follow guidance from a BCBA.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with both children and caregivers.

Responsibilities

• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under BCBA guidance.
• Work one-on-one with children to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Demonstrate evidence-based techniques to reduce interfering behaviors and promote learning.
• Support safety during activities and carry out activities as assigned.
