Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians in Maryland to support children with autism through individualized intervention plans. You will work one-on-one under supervision to teach communication and daily living skills while reducing challenging behaviors.

We provide comprehensive training and a collaborative team environment. This role offers pay ranging from $20 to $26 per hour, with opportunities to grow within the organization.

Qualifications

• Patience and empathy when working with children with autism.
• Ability to work well in a team.
• Excellent communication with colleagues and families.
• Willingness to learn and follow BCBA guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children to implement behavior intervention plans under BCBA guidance.
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Reduce interfering behaviors using evidence-based techniques.
• Participate in ongoing training and supervision.
• Support families and maintain accurate records.
