Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians in Snellville, GA to work one-on-one with children with autism under the supervision of a BCBA. You will implement individualized behavior plans and teach communication, social, and daily living skills using evidence-based methods.

We offer comprehensive training; no prior experience required. You must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and complete required certifications and background checks.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age
• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to obtain a CPR, First Aid Certification and Tuberculosis test (if you haven’t had one in the last year)
• Ability to pass a pre employment background check
• Ability to move in various positions (sit, squat, bend, etc.)
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one support to children following individualized behavior intervention plans under BCBA guidance.
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills using evidence-based techniques; reduce interfering behaviors.
