Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join as Behavior Technicians in Oregon. You will work one-on-one with children with autism, implementing individualized plans under the supervision of a BCBA to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing disruptive behaviors.

You will receive comprehensive training, with a daily focus on helping kids reach their potential. The role involves physical activity and lifting up to 50 pounds as needed.

Qualifications

• Passion for helping children with autism.
• Patient and compassionate, able to work in a team.
• 18+ years of age.
• HS diploma or GED.
• CPR/First Aid cert and TB test in scope.
• Background check clearance.
• Ability to move and lift up to 50 pounds.
• RBT certification obtained after onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children using individualized plans.
• Implement behavior intervention plans under BCBA guidance.
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Reduce interfering behaviors and promote safety.
