Job summary

Maxim Healthcare Services, Inc. is hiring a Behavioral Technician to work one-on-one with children and adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder and similar developmental and behavioral health needs in Antioch, CA. Hourly pay ranges from $23 to $27.

You will support social and communication skills, document progress, and implement behavior plans created by our BCBA team. Access to benefits, training, and flexible hours are provided.

Qualifications

• Passion for working with children and adults with special needs.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Proficiency in English.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• 40-hour ABA training completed or to be completed before service.
• Current CPR and First Aid certification.
• Current PPD or Chest X-ray.
• College coursework in psychology/education/behavioral science or 1 year of relevant child work experience.

Responsibilities

• Help children work on social, communication, and behavioral skills.
• Document child progress and milestones.
• Follow and implement behavior change plans created by board-certified behavior analysts.
