Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to join our team in Canby, Oregon. You will work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized behavior plans under the guidance of a BCBA.

You’ll use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing challenging behaviors. We provide comprehensive training so you can grow in your role, with a structured career path and supportive team.

Qualifications

• Requires compassionate, patient demeanor and teamwork.
• Must be 18+ and have HS diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR/First Aid and TB test.
• Must pass pre-employment background check.
• Ability to stand/walk and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under BCBA supervision.
• Work one-on-one with children to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Record progress and communicate with BCBA and care team.
• Maintain safety and adapt activities to each child’s needs.
