STAR ABA LLC in East Boston is seeking a Behavioral Technician for per diem work. You will provide clinical skills instruction and implement ABA-based behavior reduction protocols with children in home, clinic, school, and community settings.

You will collect data, assist with parent training, and work under the supervision of a BCBA. The role requires strong communication and organizational skills and offers per diem scheduling in the Boston area.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a human services field with 1 year of direct relevant experience.
• Or an associate’s degree with at least 2 years of direct relevant experience.
• Strong organization and communication skills.
• Registered Behavior Technician certification is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Plan and implement intervention strategies under BCBA supervision.
• Teach targeted behaviors using specialized techniques.
• Record and track data from training sessions.
• Reinforce positive behavior with children on caseload.
• Communicate with administrators, parents and community members.
• Provide direct client care in 1:1 and group settings.
• Follow prescribed behavior skill acquisition and reduction protocols.
• Collect, record, and summarize data on observable client behavior.
• Assist with parent and caregiver training.
• Communicate progress to parents as instructed by BCBA.
