Job summary

STAR ABA LLC is seeking a Behavioral Technician in Southborough, MA. The role involves providing clinical skills instruction and behavior reduction programs based on Applied Behavior Analysis, supporting children with Autism and related developmental disabilities in home, community, clinic, and school settings.

Under supervision of a BCBA, you will collect data, train parents, and implement direct therapy sessions, ensuring safety and accurate documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a human services field or related field with direct relevant experience.
• Associate’s degree with 2+ years of direct relevant experience.
• Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plans and implements intervention strategies under supervision of a BCBA.
• Teaches targeted behaviors using specialized techniques.
• Records and tracks data from training sessions.
• Reinforces positive behavior with children on caseload.
• Communicates effectively with administrators, parents and community members.
• Provides documentation of intervention, goals and objectives.
• Facilitates transitions between agencies and programs.
• Identifies emergency situations and ensures child safety.
• Provides direct client care in 1:1 and group settings.
• Follows prescribed behavior protocols and collects data.
