No prior experience required as comprehensive training is provided; you must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, obtain CPR/First Aid and a TB test, and eventually earn the Registered Behavior Technician certification.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work in a team.
• 18+ years of age; high school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR/First Aid certification and TB test.
• Pre-employment background check required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must obtain RBT certification after onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children under BCBA guidance.
• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans.
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills using evidence-based techniques.
• Maintain safety and manage challenging behaviors as needed.
• Assist in lifting or moving the child up to 50 pounds when required.
