Job summary

Bedford Public Schools invites applications for the Education Support Professional-3 (ESP-3) to support students in SAIL, STEP/Bridge, and Integrated Preschool programs. The ESP-3 will assist in implementing IEPs and provide instruction using ABA-based and naturalistic teaching methods under supervision of BCBA and Special Education teachers.

Responsibilities include supervising students, delivering small group instruction, data collection for progress monitoring, and collaboration with teachers

Qualifications

• Associates Degree preferred in psychology, education, or related area.
• Experience with ABA or related training is a plus.
• Ability to collect, record, and analyze data for student progress.

Responsibilities

• Support classroom routines and reinforce social interaction programs by modeling positive behavior.
• Provide supervision and support in all school environments (recess, lunch, arrival, dismissal, field trips).
• Provide small group or individual instructional support aligned with student goals and IEPs.
• Consult with teachers to align daily classes with targets and expectations.
• Support academic and behavior programs with data collection and progress monitoring.
• Provide regular feedback on student progress to staff.
• Assist with implementation of behavior intervention plans and social skill facilitation.
• Adapt to varying needs of students and maintain confidentiality.
