Job summary

Bedford Public Schools is seeking an Educational Support Professional for the Sail 1 Program (ESP-3) at John Glenn Middle School in Bedford, MA. The ESP-3 role focuses on delivering ABA-based instructional support to students with ASD in a sub-separate setting.

The ESP will be trained in de-escalation techniques and data collection, with supervision from a BCBA and certified special education teachers. Five days of specialized training precede the school year.

Qualifications

• A SAIL 1 ESP provides direct support to students with autism spectrum disorders in a sub-separate classroom using ABA-based strategies.
• Position requires data collection and progress monitoring of student goals.
