Job summary

Centria Autism in Las Cruces, NM is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Behavior Technicians. You will work one-on-one with children with autism, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a BCBA.

You will use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing challenging behaviors. We provide comprehensive training so that you are equipped to help each child, including after onboarding you will

Qualifications

• Candidates must be 18+ years old and hold a High School Diploma or GED.
• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Must obtain CPR/First Aid Certification and TB test.
• Must pass a pre-employment background check.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and move in multiple positions.
• Must obtain RBT certification after onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children under the guidance of a BCBA to implement individualized behavior intervention plans.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Collaborate with teammates to support client progress and safety.
