Job summary

Trellis Services is hiring instructors to work with children and adolescents (ages 9 to 21) diagnosed with autism in our Harford County After School Program. This part-time position offers flexible hours, competitive pay of $19/hr, and participation in our 401K plan.

The role requires transporting clients in your own vehicle, completing safety checks, and using Applied Behavior Analysis under supervision. The program operates in Edgewood with afternoon/early evening hours and weekend options.

Qualifications

• Meet the minimum age requirement of 18
• Eligibility to work in the United States.
• The ability to pass a background check.
• Minimum 100 hours of working/volunteer/personal experience with individuals with developmental delays
• Reliable transportation/Valid Driver's License/Current Auto Insurance

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one support with community independence, daily living and recreation/leisure
• Flexible schedules; afternoon, evening and weekend shifts
• Additional opportunities available throughout Maryland including Anne Arundel, Baltimore, Carroll, Harford, Howard and Talbot counties
• Ability to advance into other roles at Trellis
• Great foundation for a career in special education and related fields
