Trellis Services is hiring instructors to work with children and adolescents diagnosed with autism in our Harford County After School Program in Edgewood, MD. This part-time role offers flexible hours, competitive pay of $19/hr, and participation in our 401K plan.

The program runs with specific windows and requires drivers who can transport clients and pass a background check. It’s a great entry point to a career in special education and related fields.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 18 and eligibility to work in the United States.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Minimum 100 hours of work/volunteer/personal experience with individuals with developmental delays.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one support with community independence, daily living and recreation/leisure.
• Flexible afternoon, evening and weekend shifts.
• Opportunities across Maryland counties including Harford, Anne Arundel, Baltimore, and more.
• Possible advancement into other roles at Trellis.
• Builds a strong foundation for a career in special education.
