Job summary

Trellis Services is hiring one-on-one instructors to work with children and adolescents with autism in their homes and in the community in Howard County, Maryland. This part-time position offers flexible afternoons, evenings and weekend shifts with competitive pay of $19 per hour.

Ideal candidates will have at least 100 hours of experience with individuals with developmental delays, be 18 or older, and be eligible to work in the United States.

Qualifications

• 18 years or older
• Eligibility to work in the United States
• Ability to pass a background check
• Minimum 100 hours experience with individuals with developmental delays
• Reliable transportation and valid driver's license + current auto insurance

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one support with community independence, daily living and recreation/leisure
• Flexible schedules; afternoon, evening and weekend shifts
• Opportunities across Maryland including Anne Arundel, Baltimore, Carroll, Harford, Howard and Talbot counties
• Ability to advance into other roles at Trellis
• Great foundation for a career in special education and related fields
