Job summary

Laurel Heights Hospital in Atlanta seeks a motivated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to support youth with autism and other behavioral disorders. You will deliver 1:1 ABA-based interventions, implement skill acquisition and behavior reduction plans, and collect data to track progress. Join a multidisciplinary team dedicated to compassionate treatment.

The role emphasizes collaboration, documentation, and adherence to safety protocols within a residential facility setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in psychology or equivalent experience.
• Two years’ experience in a psychiatric setting with children/adolescents.
• RBT preferred or BACB RBT course in progress.
• Certified in CPR and HWC or able to obtain training on hire.
• Strong communication, writing and listening skills; teamwork required.
• Ability to assist with safe restraint/seclusion when needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 ABA-based behavioral interventions.
• Support skill acquisition and behavior reduction plans.
• Collect and record data; write progress notes.
• Prepare materials and plan facility incentives.
• Work with patients individually or in groups.
• Perform duties as assigned by supervisor.
