Job summary

Gateway Pediatric Therapy in Grand Rapids, MI seeks staff to work with individuals on the autism spectrum in a 1:1 clinic and home setting using ABA methods. You will organize, prepare materials, arrive on time, and maintain precise data across sessions.

Responsibilities include supervision, team meetings, professional communication with families, and adherence to privacy policies. Requires a high school diploma or GED, CPI/first aid training, and reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• Must be able to communicate expressively and receptively both verbally and in writing.
• Must be able to sit in a child size chair or on the floor; switch from standing to sitting quickly; walk, jog, or run quickly for client safety.
• Requires ability to lift up to 40 lbs and perform various physical activities.
• Must be 18 years of age or older; minimum high school diploma or GED.
• Must have a valid Driver License and reliable vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Organize and maintain instructional area during and after sessions.
• Prepare materials, binders, stimuli, and needed resources.
• Dress appropriately and arrive on time for sessions.
• Complete tasks associated with each therapy session.
• Receive 1:1 and group supervision through direct observation.
• Attend team meetings and scheduled trainings.
• Communicate professionally with coworkers and parents.
• Respond to internal communications within 24 hours.
• Maintain HIPAA privacy and Gateway policies.
