Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Experience using ABA methods in a public school setting with autistic spectrum or severe behavioral needs.
• Maintain district program certifications such as crisis management/de-escalation programs.

Responsibilities

• Apply ABA interventions and appropriate interventions for students with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
• Assess student needs and provide behavior interventions.
• Implement and monitor Functional Behavior Assessments and BIPs across multiple students.
• Collaborate with Teachers of Records, OT, PT, SLP and other staff to develop appropriate programming.
• Support transitions and inclusion practices within CPCSC classrooms and community settings.
• Maintain student records and comply with district policies and confidentiality requirements.
