Job summary

Achieve Beyond is hiring Part-time, Hourly Autism Aides to support pediatric therapy across the Stamford area. The role focuses on delivering direct ABA instruction under BCBA guidance, collaborating with therapy teams, and communicating with families to promote consistency at home and in the community.

Requirements include at least 2 years with special needs children and completion of Achieve Beyond’s 20-hour training with a competency exam.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years working with special needs children ages 2-21 in a supervised setting.
• Experience using ABA is preferred.
• Successful completion of 20-hour classroom training provided by Achieve Beyond and passing competency exam after training.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct ABA instruction according to the educational plan by the BCBA.
• Participate in collaborative team meetings with BCBA and other Autism Aides/Behavior Therapists on the case.
• Frequent communication with families; provide debriefs and home/community resources/strategies.
• Collect daily data and organize the child’s program book weekly.
• Maintain confidentiality of information per State and Federal regulations.
