Job summary

STAT Home Health is seeking a Full-Time Insurance Authorization Specialist to verify insurance benefits, perform data entry, and support case management. The role includes learning home health systems, plan of care, and regulatory requirements while contributing to accurate record keeping and patient service status updates.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Knowledge of various office machines and office software programs.
• Willingness to learn basic computer knowledge with home health systems, OASIS, plan of care and regulations.
• Knowledge or willingness to learn the insurance authorization process of various insurance companies.
• Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.

Responsibilities

• Verify insurance benefits for privately insured clients/patients.
