Job summary

STAT Home Health is seeking a Full-Time Insurance Authorization Specialist to verify insurance benefits, perform data entry, and coordinate with case management. The role supports accurate plan of care processing and compliance with regulations.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, strong communication skills, and familiarity with office software and medical terminology. ESOP ownership and comprehensive benefits accompany the position.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Knowledge of various office machines and software programs
• Willingness to learn basic computer knowledge with home health computer systems, OASIS, plan of care and regulations
• Knowledge of the insurance authorization process of various insurance companies
• Knowledge of medical terminology preferred

Responsibilities

• Verifying insurance benefits of privately insured clients/patients
• Data Entry
• Notifying case management staff of patient service status
• Record keeping of all patients
• Other duties as assigned
