Job summary

STAT Home Health is seeking a Full-Time Insurance Authorization Specialist to join our team in Little Rock, AR. This role supports verification of insurance benefits, data entry, and coordination with case management within a home health setting.

Qualifications include a high school diploma, strong written and verbal communication skills, knowledge of office software, and willingness to learn insurance authorization processes for multiple providers. Medical terminology knowledge is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Knowledge of various office machines and software programs.
• Willingness to learn basic computer knowledge with home health computer systems, OASIS, plan of care and regulations.
• Knowledge or willingness to learn the insurance authorization process of various insurance companies.
• Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.

Responsibilities

• Verifying insurance benefits of privately insured clients/patients.
• Data entry.
• Notifying case management staff of patient service status.
• Record keeping of all patients.
• Other duties as assigned.
