Job summary

STAT Home Health is seeking a Full-Time Insurance Authorization Specialist to join our team. This role focuses on verifying patient insurance benefits, handling data entry, and coordinating with case management to ensure timely patient services.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma, strong communication skills, and familiarity with insurance processes. Training on home health systems and regulations will be provided as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Knowledge of office machines and office software programs.
• Willingness to learn basic computer knowledge with home health systems, OASIS, plan of care and regulations.
• Knowledge of the insurance authorization process of various insurance companies.
• Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.

• Data Entry
• Notifying case management staff of patient service status
• Record keeping of all patients
