Team Select Home Care is seeking an Authorization Specialist II to handle authorization requests across insurance plans. You will verify eligibility, track and secure authorizations, and maintain EMR records while coordinating with staff and payors to ensure accurate service delivery.

The role requires strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills, with at least two years in health-related authorization. This on-site position offers a clear pay range and benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of two years’ experience in health-related authorization and eligibility required.

Responsibilities

• Check eligibility/benefits on patients and communicate them to staff.
• Track and obtain all authorizations for all locations and reauthorizations.
• Enter authorization data into the EMR and verify payor setup accuracy.
• Run daily/weekly/monthly reports and communicate with internal/external customers.
• Appeal denials as required by payer and coordinate with governing bodies if needed.
