The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma (MA preferred) and experience in healthcare settings, with familiarity of medical terminology and payer portals. Strong organizational and communication skills are essential to manage multiple priorities

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• MA preferred
• Previous healthcare, medical office, insurance verification, referral, scheduling, or prior authorization experience preferred
• Knowledge of medical terminology and health insurance requirements preferred
• Strong organizational, communication, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
• Experience with electronic medical records and insurance payer portals preferred

Responsibilities

• Manage insurance verification, prior authorizations, and referrals for primary care and specialty offices.
• Work closely with providers, clinical staff, scheduling teams, insurance companies, patients, and outside organizations to ensure timely access to services.
• Collaborate with team to support smooth authorization workflows and timely patient access.
