Job summary

You will educate patients and providers on coverage limitations or out-of-pocket costs, coordinate prior authorizations, and work closely with EPIC and payer portals to expedite approvals. You will contribute to a well-organized and friendly office environment while supporting front-end staff

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• One year of healthcare office experience preferred; familiarity with EPIC.
• Proficiency with EPIC and Microsoft Office; knowledge of medical records.

Responsibilities

• Authorization Submission: initiate, submit, and track prior authorization for visits, imaging, and procedures.
• Insurance Verification: review policies and benefits using payer portals to ensure compliance.
• Documentation Management: collect records to support authorization requests.
• Denial and Appeal Management: track denials and prepare peer-to-peer reviews.
• Appointment Coordination: schedule, reschedule, or cancel imaging exams.
• Patient Communication: explain procedures, prep requirements, and locations.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
