Responsibilities

• Obtain pre-authorizations and pre-certifications for procedures, outpatient testing, and medications per payer guidelines and policies.
• Collect, review, and submit clinical and demographic information for authorization requests.
• Coordinate authorization workflows between providers, insurers, and internal departments to ensure timely scheduling.
• Schedule outpatient diagnostic testing and procedures with internal and external providers.
• Maintain accurate EMR documentation including procedure details, benefits and payer communications.
