Job summary

Serenity Healthcare is seeking an Insurance Authorization Specialist in Jacksonville, FL to help patients access Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) treatments. This onsite role collaborates with clinical and administrative teams, handles insurance authorizations, and manages patient documentation within the EHR system.

Please note: This role involves reviewing sensitive mental health records, including cases involving PTSD and suicidal ideation, which may be triggering for some individuals.

What You'll Do

• Gather and review patient documentation to verify eligibility for Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) treatments
• Coordinate with outside providers to obtain relevant medical records and patient history
• Prepare, submit, and follow up on insurance authorization requests
• Manage and organize incoming faxes and patient documentation
• Represent and advocate for patients during clinical review calls with insurance providers
• Ensure all documentation is accurately entered into the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system
• Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to support efficient patient care
• Perform other administrative and operational duties as needed
